Introduction
hi!
I'm ham-mom of Cinderfella ('Fella) and Bertha. Both are Syrian hams--male and female, respectively--aged approximately 1.5 years and living adequately in separate cages, but in the same little New York bedroom. I've been rescuing hamsters for seventeen years, and--despite my severe allergy--have no plans to stop. I'm a heavy presence in Facebook groups and am always missing my babies, even when they are two feet in front of me and sleeping.
I studied literature on the Eastern Shore of Maryland--and studied abroad twice, spending most of my time in the south of Ireland. Since graduation I have been credentialed to teach Special Needs children. If it were easier I would fancy myself a world-renowned freelance writer and published amateur poet. However, I am struggling to keep the dream alive these days.
I'm excited to be a part of yet another hamily, should you all choose to accept and be patient with me. Thanks for the opportunity!
Attached are photos of my boy, 'Fella, in his travel cage enjoying an afternoon on the deck with me, and Bertha's first outdoor "free"-roam.

Hi and welcome from England but I'm Bavarian. Your hamsters are sooo cute! You sure you shouldn't be a photographer? They are fab photos.
