Hi, I'm Hamsterif

Hello! I am Hamsterif, I joined Hamster Central last October but am now making my first post. I live in South West England. It's alright here but the only place I can get dwarf hamsters is Pets At Home which is a huge letdown. I'd much rather go to a breeder, so if anyone knows of a good one near me please let me know!

I currently own 4 hamsters:
Cloud - female Russian dwarf hamster;

Cactus - female Russian dwarf hamster;

Albert - male Roborovski dwarf hamster;

Bear - male Russian dwarf hamster;

There is also another hamster in my household, Ocean, but he does not belong to me.

I love all types of hamsters, although I prefer dwarf hamsters and Chinese hamsters due to me having small hands. I run a blog on Tumblr named Hamsterif where I regularly post updates and pictures of my hamsters. If you want to follow their lives I recommend following it and checking in every so often. I will also be starting an Instagram within the next few days so I will update this post when I have done that!

Hi & welcome to HC, all your hams are adorable, look forward to seeing more of them

We have a couple of other members here in Cornwall who have also had difficulties getting hamsters other than from P@H, if you can travel it might be worth checking out hamster shows to see if there are any close enough for you to get to as there are usually breeder hams for sale there.

Hello! What cypher said is right. Cornwall is challenging. I think with you that makes 4 of us down here that I'm aware of now. We've all had hamster supply issues. My hamster was from Truro P@H adoption centre. I think the others have had to go that route too. There aren't any breeders down here that I'm aware of. Bristol show would be the nearest place to go for us Cornish folk I believe!
