I wondered about bar chewing too when you first mentioned the patch on his nose but it looks a bit too high up for that & doesn't explain the other patches so I doubt it's that, it doesn't exclude the possibility of rubbing against something else in the cage though.
It's hard to say from the photo whether it might be mites or not tbh.

He doesn't out of habit, if I'm feeding him sunflower seeds or millet or something through the bars and he finishes before I've got the next one he chews then but only because he thinks there's still more food there. I'll have to look up exotic pets in my area, but thank you.

I thought that too but it looks too high up, he's lost some more fur around his cheeks now but i can't see anymore going to fall out like it did before, so hopefully the drops are working. The vet said if it doesn't look like its getting better this week come back in but the redness in his skin has gone down alot and it looks like on his back he has some small, wispy fur so hopefully he is getting better. Thank you for all your help.
