Help!
My hamster Cheerio is having a hard time balancing and is laying on his side twitching. I have noticed that he has been less active lately and I need opinions on whats going on. His mouth also moves like he is chewing.

Re: Help!
He does sound like he is making his way across the bridge now. The air gasping si common but try and not fret as they are normally deeply unconcious at this stage. Talk gently to him and maybe tuck him under his bedding for warmth though some hamster will seek the open when they are passing over. Keep things quiet and if he is still with you in the morning then he may need seen by a vet.

Re: Help!
I fully agree with souffle. I would seek out a vet in the morning if he makes it. Hugs to you. xxx
