Another newbie
Hello! Nice to meet you all on this forum!
I'm Danielle, 26 years old and as of tomorrow a new first-time hamster owner.
I live in the Netherlands and I found this forum through the youtube channel ErinsAnimals.
I picked out a female roborovski from a rescue nearby here. Her name will be Pichu(I'm a pokémon nerd) and her initial accommodation will be a 70cmx70cm DIY cage. I might buy a Detolf in the future but it doesn't quite fit in my apartment because of its lenght.
I have experience with owning mice, guinea pigs, rabbits and chinchillas.
I plan on reading this forum practically back to back to be as well prepared as possible for my new family member.
See you around! - Jylliana92

Re: Another newbie
So far she has escaped my hands and had a good run around living room(oops!), but she also already takes food from my hand and is super curious and not skittish at all. I can tell her previous owner has been good to her

Re: Another newbie
Hey there! Welcome to the forum.
Anything you can tell me about owning mice? I'm fascinated by them and it would be nice to hear from someone who owned mouse. Good luck with Pichu
