Default I need help about my 18 months old hamster

Hello.. It is my first time posting on this forum.

I have a problem with my hamster. This morning I noticed he was outside his little hideout and he was running on his wheel. This is very unusual as he is usually sleeping during that time. Normally he will just come out to stuff his pouches and go back to his hideout and sleep. He is active during the night. So today I noticed that he was running around frantically in his cage. I tried to give him sunflower seeds as he is usually asking for those before he retreats his house. But today he would not go in. He stayed in a corner near his wheel and kept digging the bedding. Then he would run from there to his food dish and sleep in it. I thought his little hideout was too warm for him so I let him sleep where he wanted. But he seems restless. He can't stay in one spot for long without running frantically around. He is drinking water but is not eating well. I tried giving him some lettuce which he was excited about but then as he tried to chew on it he threw it away. He managed to finish eating it though. Also he has some bald spots. I can see his cheek pouches. He had this before and the vet gave me drops to put in his water and told.me to keep a lamp above his cage. But that was during winter. Its now summer. Should i put the lamp back again ? He is not sleeping at all. He seems really restless. I am bringing him to the vet early in the morning tomorrow.
