Hi Everyone, and almost Happy New Year to all of you Hamster Lovers out there. We have had our baby Hamster for just about 2 weeks. Today for the first time I put my Benny in his playpen. He loves being in there. Lots of food, treats, water, toys and a soft plush napping spot for him to climb into. It is also top enclosed so no worries about his jumping out. I know as time passes I will have many questions as they arise. So cute, but yes, he has jumped out of my hand and onto the floor. I was so scared for the furry little guy. I'm just so glad I found all of you. Thank you for being here and sharing.

Hello and welcome! Yes, i've had that jumping out of my hand experience too but luckily i managed to catch him midair. We all live and learn...and there's a lot to learn from this fab forum.
