Hope the new substrate helps with the scratching, that might improve if she begins to eat better too.
Hello how are you? I have now changed her food and she loves it. Thank you so much for that recommendation.

This morning I saw that she had chewed away a chunk out of one of her tubes and I am really concerned about her health? Do you think that might cause a problem ? I have removed both of the tubes as of now as I'm scared she might continue chewing on them. She even bit me quite hard when I was removing them.

Good to hear she's enjoying her food now.

Are the tubes plastic? If they are then it's good that you removed them, they don't usually eat plastic if they chew it so she should be ok.
If you want to add tube type things to the cage then the best & safest are things like cork tubes or tunnels, hyacinth or seagrass tunnels (available from P@H I think, Amazon & other online pet shops), cardboard like kitchen roll tubes or the small logs with holes in are fine for a robo too.

She probably only bit you because you were messing with her cage, they don't like that!

Well basically the tube is hard plastic but the end that keeps the tubes together is plastic as well but a bit softer so I think she found it easy to bite. The rest of the tube is exactly the same material as a flying saucer and she doesnt chew that or her cage platforms.
. She looks really upset that I removed them. I may try to put them back without the soft plastic and I will definetely look for the ones you suggested. Once again thank you so much for the advice!!!!

If she's only chewed the soft bit that joins the tubes then it should be ok to put them back for now at least & maybe look for something to replace them with.

Hello how are you?

Well I changed her food gradually and while she ate it fine, two days ago it was the first day I fed her only the new food. She loved it but now it seems that she doesnt like it that much. I wonder if I should go and buy the old brand and mix it up again or just wait a couple of days more for her to adjust. I dont want her to die from hunger, unless they eat anyways when they are hungry.

I'd give it a couple of days & see how she goes, she may have hoarded some & be eating that, if she's hungry & was eating it before she should eat it if she needs to.

She sounds adorable!

Thanks for all the questions, I've learnt a lot as I am a newbie too!

I have a Syrian called Luna and I'm just in love with her!

How's Yuki?
