Hi!
Hi! I am a new hamster owner, as you can tell by my username. I have one Syrian short-haired hamster, Vincent, who I have had for three days now. That's about it! I joined to gain advise from other more experienced hamster owners. My main focus right now is taming, which I will post about asking for advise in the General section of the forum very soon.

Hi and welcome to HC,
There are so many knowledgeable folk here to help, on Taming best thing is to take your time, pop some plain white toilet tissue up your sleeves so it gets your scent and then pop it into his cage so your little dude will be used to your smell, talk softly to him and try offering him some little treats so he gets used to your hands coming into his space.
