Greetings from London, along with my Syrian Hamster-- Butter
Just a shout out to all of you as I am new to this place-- I bought this Syrian Hamster very recently and I have been told that it's a "show hamster" (not sure if it's a term they use just for beefing up the price tag). Anyhow, she is around 12 weeks old now and I think she is lovely.
I previously had a Dwarf Hamster (5/6 years ago and she's long gone) and a gerbil.
Looking forward in getting into some "hamster" talk with you lots!

Butter is sure a cutie! I’m afraid your cage is to small. What are the measurements or what is it called? This is a great community. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask! Looking forward to seeing more of Butter!

Aw what a pretty hamster. She looks shiney coated. I wonder if she has some satin in her breeding.
My syrian hamster has a lovely cage 100 x 50cm which is a good size for syrians. Zooplus sell some great cages at that size if you need to upgrade.
Pet shops rarely have suitable small pet cages, which is annoying as you would expect a pet shop to know about relevent sizes for each species.
Look forward to seeing more pics of your beautiful girl.
