Hello from South Florida
Hey guys,
I'm preparing to get a hamster, still in research and prep mode. Just today they delivered my 3 Ikea Linnmon table tops. I'll be building Paulie's cage with the help of some great Youtube videos. My favorite Internet hamster is Vanilla Ham Ham. That channel is just awesome.
I had a hamster years ago. I think it was 1978 or 1979 (yeah, I'm an old guy) I had a blast watching that little guy every night. I wish they had the online resources back then that they do now. I made a lot of mistakes back then. This time I want to provide the very best care that I can for little Paulie.
I plan on getting a short haired Syrian male. I'll keep you updated.

Hello and welcome to HC, nothing wrong with being oldish and liking hamsters, I got our first one for my wife for her birthday and have been bitten by the Ham-Bug ever since..!
