My hamster won't eat!
Hi there. I have a Syrian hamster who is roughly 1.5 years old named Luna. Past 3 days she has not eaten and I am starting to get concerned. She is still acting her cheeky self though and has been drinking more water than usual. any suggestions on what might be wrong or anyways to help?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: My hamster won't eat!
Are you sure she hasn't been eating out her store? Any change in behavior though can be cause for concern so it may be best to have her vet checked.
Is there any bloating or squishy feeling in her tummy? Drinking a lot can be a sign on a womb infection in females and this is quite serious. If you feel she is swollen then get her seen as soon as possible.
I hope she is OK

Re: My hamster won't eat!
Hi soufflé. I don’t think she has a bloated stomach. I will check her house when I get in to see if she has been eating out her store. Thanks for the reply.

Re: My hamster won't eat!
I have just checked now and it looks like she doesn't have a store at the moment. A while back the vet prescribed some medicine as she said her tummy was quite red looking. Her tummy is always a slight red and now maybe even a bit more right now, should I give er maybe a dose and see if that will help. The medicine is called Bio Lapis.
