Hello there!
Hello there!
My name is Rae, and I am hopefully getting a little hammy soon .
When I was younger, we had a family hamster called Nibbles (Nibs for short) and he lived to the happy age of three years although we were painfully uneducated on proper husbandry at that time now that I look back.
Here is a little about me:
I live in England, UK.
I adore animals! Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to look after and work with animals.
When I am older, I want to be a veterinary nurse or other animal carer.
My current pets:
A thriving community aquarium.
A Northern Inuit dog called Loki
A Leopard Gecko called Ozzy.
I hope I can learn more about hamsters and make sure I am properly educated on their care and needs.

Re: Hello there!
Hi Rae, and welcome to HC.
You are in the right place for any advice regarding Hamsters there are many members here with a wealth of knowledge that you can draw on.
to increase your knowledge about animal care/husbandry have you thought of volunteering at a local animal shelter or RSPCA centre at all?
