Smile Hello :)

Hello everyone,

I've been researching for reputable hamster breeders in the Phoenix, AZ area and haven't found anyone. I happened upon this forum and liked what I've read so far, as this community seems very supportive and caring.

Our family list our sweet little hammy last Friday and we are just so sad without her. I feel like a piece of my heart died with her. I know I did everything I could to save her and she lived a good little life, even if I feel like she went just a little too soon. I think she was about a year and 9 months.

We've decided they we do want anther sweet hammy soon, so I joined this community in hopes of finding a breeder rather than going to another pet store. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to HC! I'm glad that you decided to join our forum. Everyone is truly very kind and always so willing to help and be there in such a supportive way for one another.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your very beloved little hammy. I can totally understand what it is like feeling your heart dying with the heartbreaking loss of a dear one. She sounds like she had a magnificent life filled with so much love and nurturing care. Although she wasn't with you as long as you have wanted, I'm sure that you and your entire family have so many wonderful, treasured memories of her to cherish forever. She will live on in your hearts always and is now your little, furry guardian angel watching over you with so much love. She would want for you all to find happiness once again and give that love that you blessed her with to another most deserving hammy. I will wish you all the very best in finding a sweet hammy from a breeder, but I sadly do not know of any here in the States. You may want to create a new thread requesting reputable breeders in the U.S. so you can get input from other members who may know of a few in the U.S. and their contact information. Best of luck. My heart goes out to you and your family during this very hard and emotional time. Hugs to you all.

RIP, dear little hammy. You are truly loved and will never be forgotten. Have plenty of great fun at the Bridge.
