Hello! Intro & Question!
Hey everyone! My name is Nicole and I have two Syrian hammys named Virgo and Tot. I adopted Virgo last November and recently adopted Tot at the Humane Society at just five weeks old! I recently joined this forum after hearing about it on a pet channel on YouTube. Also, I have a question referring to aquarium enclosers for hammys. I have a 100 gallon tank that was once used for my pet turtle before he passed and I was wondering if it was possible to clean out the tank and use it for one of my little guys? If so, what can I use to clean it out? Is there any products I should avoid?

What are it's dimensions? I have no clue how big a 100 gallon tank is. If it's big enough it'll be absolutely fine to disinfect and use for a Syrian. Any pet safe disinfectant should be fine.

Hi & welcome to HC
Virgo and Tot both look lovely!
Your tank should be fine, you can use any unscented pet safe disinfectant or baby steriliser to clean it.
If it doesn't have a lid then you will need to make one, hams can escape surprisingly easily without one!
