Default Yoda is struggling with the heat!

Hi guys
I know I haven't been on here for ages but life has been pretty busy. Yoda is doing really well although I am somewhat baffled as to why he won't chew on any of his toys but loves to chew my carpets.
I love some advice on how I can keep him cool in this hot weather. I have a fan that I am using and I keep the curtains drawn as my living room has full sun from around 2pm till sunset. This evening he has tried to Bury himself under his litter tray. Yoda is a long haired Syrian and he now has a very long fluffy coat! Ant tips and advice would be gratefully received.

Glad to hear that Yoda is doing well!

You can grab one of your ceramic coffee or tea mugs (make sure it is clean) and stick it in the freezer for an hour or two. Then, put it in your hams cage. You can have two handy so you can rotate them throughout the day. You can also try a terra-cotta pot (found in the gardining section of most hardware stores). They tend to stay cool without having to be put in the freezer.
Hope Yoda will start feeling a lot cooler!
