Thank you; I'm sure Eros is blushing under all of her fur, lol. It isn't that common at all. In fact, I haven't seen a ham with those different colored eyes prior to me falling head over heals over Eros, and Fudge is only the second one since then, lol.  Your Fudge is VERY special, and your daughter chose well.

I have added a pic of the cage...
Im sure this would be ok for our hammy... Its deep base and a good size..
I would just like 2 add.... Although new to this site i have had hamsters before.. One of which was 3 and a half years old!! So not new to hamster care etc.. Just cages keep changing all the time.
Im sure this one is fine.. And Little Fudge will have a seperate "Play" area with toys etc when out his cage.

That cage is rather tall but otherwise it's ok, when you said a cage with lots of tiers I was thinking of the tall narrow ones with multiple levels rather than a couple of shelves.

Ye i didnt word it too well lol.
Im just looking on zooplus at the barney cage so may get him that one as i think i prefer it. Looks alot better to b fair.

I love Fudge's markings on his white band; they are quite cute.

Thank you for everyones comments.
Just hoping Fudge settles well - Were jst doing the basic hand in and out of cage but hes abit nippy.. Hopefully that will stop soon as i dont want it to put my daughter off handling him  . X
