Re: My new hammje
I am so deeply sorry to hear that Trixie has passed away. You have given her an amazing home with endless amounts of love. It so difficult when they pass away unexpectedly and still young - so my condolences to you during this sad time.
Play well at the bridge Trixie.

Re: My new hammje
I understand you are a very nice owner and I figured the reason why she was smaller than her brothers or sisters was that she was bullied by others or not strong enough to defend herself. Hamsters like that are usually in a bad mental and physical health condition.
Very sorry for little beautiful angel Trixie... You are so kind and Trixie was so lucky to have you as her overwhelmed love giver.

Re: My new hammje
So sorry for your loss TeDDyLoVe, it's very hard to lose a ham so young & not know why.
Sometimes we just never know, being so much smaller when you got her she may have had something that wasn't right with her from the start & there would have been nothing you could have done but you filled her short life with love gave her the best life she could have had or wished for.
Run free & play well at the bridge Trixie.

Re: My new hammje
Thanks guys, yes I think the hardest for me is not knowing what went wrong. She was such a little sweetie and although the time was short we had a very good bond.

Re: My new hammje
So sorry to hear about sweet little Trixie
Sometimes pets leave us suddenly, and unexpectedly. She was very young, and the stress of a new home may have just been too much for her. Regardless, it sounds as though you provided a safe, loving, home for her while she was with you. Play well at the bridge little one xx

Re: My new hammje
And once again... as with the passing of Teddy, Snowy is a very big comfort. He is still very active even at 2.5 years old!
