Hi
Just joined as we're looking at getting a Hamster for my son. I'm Lee also known as Reece's dad. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, the more I read the more I realise I need to read more. Reece has been watching lots of YouTube videos as he wants his new friend to be happy and well looked after.

It's great that you are trying to find out all you can before you get your ham, there's lots of info here if you have a browse around the forum but if you have any specific questions just ask.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Barney cage arrived today and from all the reading I have done it will be ok for a Syrian Hamster. We have decided, well Reece has that he wants a "orange hamster with a white belly but not red eyes" We're planning on going to the Mapplewell show for a look around and to learn lots more.
