Hi!
Hi I'm Hanah and I have 1 winter white called Mercury, though I sometimes call her Hamburger. She is my first hamster, so I still have a lot to learn. My current cage is the zoozone 1, though I am hoping to get her a new one in the very near future. I also have a pet rabbit and lots and lots of fish. I am also on hamster hideout (another great forum if you haven't heard of it).

Re: Hi!
Welcome. Have you had Mercury long? The zoo zone cages look good. I nearly got one for my first (recently got hamster).
Do you know which cage you may get?

Re: Hi!
I've had her for about 3 months now. I am hoping to get the barney or the mamble 100 (depending on whether the mamble is suitable for dwarfs).

Re: Hi!
The mamble is quite tall. This can be risky for the hamster, due to climbing up and falling. The barney may be better. Narrower bar spacing. Eithe could have levels added to reduce fall risks.

Re: Hi!
Hi & welcome to HC
I agree with CMB about the mamble it really is too tall for a Russian ham as there is always a risk of falls so better to go for something no higher than the Barney.
You might want to consider the Hamster Heaven cage which is a nice size for most Russian hams, not too small & about big enough, a good height & the bonus of a large front door which makes access so much easier. I would recommend using it without the tubes & penthouse though if you did decide on that one.
