Hello From BC, Canada :)
Hi there!
I was just going to ask a nutrition based question in the food forum, but was encouraged by a prompt to post here first. I figured, why not? 
My name's Faolan (fway-lahn). It's Irish Gaelic for wolf. I've had hammies on and off for years starting from age 6. It was our very first pet and Mom gave me the honour of picking her out. I even got to name her. What name does a 6 year old give your classic short furred brown and white Syrian hamster? Fluffy of course lol 
I know some basic care about these "should be illegal because they're so incredibly adorable" balls of fluff but there's always so much more to learn! Can't wait to start poking around and seeing all there is here.

Hello Faolan, welcome to HC.
What hammy do you have now? Not Fluffy XII or some other number lol?
This is a great community for hamster lovers and you get to see loads of beautiful hammies and the occasional rat, guinea pig, rabbit and pony too, even an aircraft carrier.
