aww I love that little guy He is a Golden in colour. The ear looks like it was maybe folded in the womb and so he was born with it twisted down like that.

Awwww I adore him!!! He is so so cute. Somehow the ear makes him even cuter - is it bad of me to say that? Anyway, welcome

He's so sweet. Looking forward to hearing what he gets up to. Really good pictures, are you using a phone or a camera? My iPad always comes up blurry and it intimidates the hams I think.

Aaaw you guys are so sweet!
I'm sure he'd blush ef he could know how nice you all are ^^,

Souffle: thanks for another logical teory!

AP: no absolutley not! The ear is growing on me profoundly and i wouldn't choose "normal" if i got the chance

RT: i'm also really looking forward to it. Just 4 nights in together and he is showing how funny and clumbsy he is, I know he is still technically a baby so i guess he is still getting a hang of things, and his cage but i think that will be a part of him. Almost always taking the hard path to the wheel instead of the easy one.. Can i upload videos on here? He is so funny.
I am on my iPad and am still figuring out this site slowly.. But the photos are taken with my iPhone 6s. Then uploaded to dropbox. And then through my iPad uploading it on to here.

Any tips hehe?

That little face! His expression in that first photo is just too cute

Good to hear he's settling in well & making progress with bonding.

You can't upload videos directly, you need to upload to youtube or other host site then post the link in your reply here.
If you want to embed videos there's a thread with instructions here, & one for embedding photos.

It could just be his normal. Some hamsters do have flat ears. Just have a look if you can at his ear for discharge or puss. Hamsters can get ear mites, you would see him scratching the ear (though they do this when grooming) You would also see black specs of what looks like black dust if it's mites. If you are worried then take him to a vet. But otherwise just keep an eye on him. He is very cute though
