Re: New to the forum
Hellooooo, soooo I got my first hamster ever, he is roborovski hamster and he was born 30.4. I got him on 25th of May. When he got here he was scared and all but he was much more interested in eatting out of my hand and he didn't bite me just nibbled. And i had to go out of town for 3 days when i came back he was sooo scared of me, when we have taming time he would take food and then bite me. And after some time I noted that he wakes up in 12am and goes to sleep 8am. But like today i had to woke him up because he was asleep all day (when i woke him up it was 3am) he wakes up later and later and goes to sleep earlyer. His fur looks better then ever and his tail is good and his butt is clean, he eats (i hear him eatting all the time in his bed) and he drinks water everyday. But I'm worried because he sleeps a lot (i don't know if he is sleeping but he is in his house all the time), for this 5 days he runs on his running wheel less and less (i looked his feet they are okay and they are, no reddness or bumps) and i don't know why is he less active at night (and yeah he doesn't wakes up during the day, more often then before but not doing any activity.
Sorry for long story there but I'm new with hamsters and maybe I'm worring too much but better safe then sorry Hahaha
(Sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language)

Re: New to the forum
Worry not, it's perfectly normal for new hamster owners to worry
Hamsters sleep a lot more than people think they do. Besides that, the times they aren't sleeping, we are! It may seem like your hamster is never awake, but most of the time they're just fine. My robo wakes up at 1 am each night and is back in her nest before 6 am (when I wake up). As long as he's happy and healthy, there's no need to worry

Aaaaa oki doki thank you
One more thing (sorry haha) I picked his house up (when he was not in it so i dont stress him) and I saw there was not a lot of poop there. I mean there is a little but for how much time he spends there there isn't. But he is eatting normaly.

Re: New to the forum
It's incredibly difficult to see robo droppings. I rarely ever can find my little Kopi's droppings. Note that they will occasionally eat their droppings as well. All in all, I really wouldn't let it worry you
