Hello, and welcome! I'm one of the 'elderly people' that Crystalroborovski referred to - I'll be 68 next birthday! Whether or not I'm an adult, that's a matter of opinion...

Re: I'm new
Thank you. I didn't want her to eat the whole strawberry so after the photo I pulled it away and she tugged it back.

Re: I'm new
Welcome, I am a mature woman also, a grandmother. I have the hamsters after my youngest got tired of caring for them and find them to be very special. They are lively little critters and ask for so little but give so much!

Re: I'm new
So you're a GrannyHam then?
Master Harvey only gets fruit once a week sometimes once every 10 days.
He prefers his veggies but loves strawberries and cherries. I usually give a whole small one or half a big strawberry.

Re: I'm new
Hello and welcome to HC! Congrats on giving Hammy her very special, forever home with you. She is quite gorgeous, btw, and I love her pic eating a strawberry. How sweet, literally, lol. My Eros is a Syrian, too. I look forward to getting to know more about your lovely Hammy and seeing more pics of her, too. Eros waves a furry paw, and you can read more about her on her Introducing Eros thread in the Syrian Hamster section of the forum.
