hi everyone, i'm chiro! i've read many threads on here before, making sure i take good care of my hamster, so i decided it was time i actually join ^ ^;

i (and my fiancé) currently have one hamster- a semi-albino, half-blind syrian girl named sargent souffle! but we tend to just call her sarge for short! i say semi-albino because both her eyes are red, and she has very light coloring, but is not completely white. so we're not sure what's up with that, but we find it adorable all the same! (maybe someone on here knows more about that kind of thing!)

i've had three hammies in the past when i was younger, two dwarves and one syrian, but the sarge is my first ham in quite some time!

sorry for writing so much, i didn't realize i had quite so much to say haha. anyway, i'm excited to be joining! it'll be fun being part of this community!
