Default I just want to know one thing

Hi. I just made an account on this website to ask a simple (probably dumb) question.
I have always wondered if hamsters can eat the dried vegetables that come separately packaged with ramen noodles.
Every time I buy ramen noodles I always look at this package and think 'wow, this looks like hamster food.' Also, my sister just recently (like two days ago recently) bought a dwarf hamster, so the question popped up again in my head. Lol, that's all I wanted to know. I thought I'd ask the experts.

Absolutely not There's no telling what may be added to the vegetables,or if they're dried with unsafe methods(sulfur dioxide for example is extremely dangerous).

Instead, use vegetables that you know are completely free of any sort of seasonings/spices or dangerous preservatives.Thoroughly wash them(preferably use non-GMO verified vegetables,as this will be the safest choice even if it may cost more but you can always freeze leftover pieces before they go bad to offset the initial cost, just thaw thoroughly before feeding the frozen bits!)before you ever feed them though.Check with the list of safe and unsafe foods for this and potentially other reputable websites, but also feel free to ask here before you use anything as that is definitely better than just guessing

Dried veg can be a bit tricky, if you can find just plain dried veg with no preservatives that are safe for hams to eat (they can't have all veg) then they are fine but I doubt that the veg with the noodles fall into that category.
Which dwarf species has your sister got?
Russian hybrids, Campbells Russian & Chinese hamsters are all prone to diabetes so should only be fed fresh low sugar veg not dried.
If you're not sure which veg are safe there's a list here.

I definitely agree with AmityvilleHams and cypher. Please do not feed your sister's hamster the dried vegetables located in the Ramen noodles. I would also definitely refer to cypher's extremely helpful and complete list of safe and unsafe foods and plants for hamsters. I think that it will be very beneficial for you when you researching hamster's dietary choices. Thanks cypher for posting the list.
