Smile Introduction

Hello. I am originally from Germany butI live in Jordan. At present I do not have a hamster. My daughter and I have had 3 Syrian hamsters. Each one reached the good age of almost 3 years. We are ready to get hamster #4. We have also rescued 2 hamsters, one was thrown out of the window by a neighbor. She survived. We took her to the veterinarian because she was bleeding. She was treated and the next day she had a baby too. She recovered well and we found a forever home for her and her pup with my daughter's friend. The next rescue was a 3 legged hamster who was next to the garbage. We took him and we found a good home for him too. Both hamsters lived a long and happy life with their new owners. I wish people would treat animals better and assume responsibility for them. I rescue other animals too.

Enjoyed reading your post. I have a couple rescues too. That sounds like drastic cases of abuse. How could people do that to animals is beyond me. Good job! Look forward to hearing about hamster #4, should you choose to adopt him/her?

Hello and welcome aboard! That's very kind of you to rescue those hamsters instead of just leaving them to die, it's quite horrific the abuse that small animals must endure. Good luck and may you have many future rescues

Hello and welcome to HC, so pleased you rescued those little Hamsters, it is a disgrace the way some people treat animals
