Hiya :3 I'm new!
Hey!
My name is Jess - i'm 25 and have recently moved to Croydon from Glasgow.
I've owned several pets in the my life but only cats and dogs. Since moving i've been missing my family pets and have approached my landlord about having a hamster and have set up this page hopefully in preparation of getting one!
I've been doing tonnes of research and have decided to get a syrian hamster as well as build my own super roomy bin cage
Hope to make some friends here too!

Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm really hoping it all works out because I have totally hyped myself up for a wee hamster friend!
Does this forum have any information regarding breeders? I would rather approach a reputable breeder than a large pet store. I'm UK based.

Hi Jess and welcome to HC. I too love your hair colour!
Fingers crossed your landlord says yes to you having a hamster.

Hi & welcome to the forum
Good luck with your ham hunt, hope you find one soon.
There is a list of breeders in the forum but some may be out of date by now, I would think the southern hamster club would be the best place to start & if you can get to any of the shows you could find your ham or a breeder there.
