Hello! My name is Amy and getting my first hamster on Friday!

I have the Living World Green Eco Habitat in Medium from Zooplus, and I'll be putting mesh across the lid because I've read they could easily escape the gaps. I don't think my hamster will be able to get out anyway because the cage is quite tall but it's better safe than sorry.

I've chosen a hamster from JustForPets, I've attached a picture so you can see! She's cream/white with a bit of grey on her head and down her back. They called it a snowflake coat

I'm not sure on a name yet so if you could leave any suggestions that would be helpful!

Your hammie looks lovely but the coat looks to be a Sable Roan. I think maybe they call them snowflake to sell them as special at Christmas! I hope they don't charge extra. A Sable Roan has the cream colouring with umbrous (dark colour) ticking the ends of the cream fur and this is combined with the pattern gene Wh or white belly which gives her the roan pattern
Looks very pretty though. Sabrina is a nice name?
The cage is a good size and I'm sure you can fit it out nicely for her.

That is a really lovely ham you've chosen, nice cage too & very wise to mesh the top, they are so good at doing the "impossible"
Look forward to seeing more of her once she's settled.
I always find my hams name themselves once I get to know them.

Hi there, your new hammy looks real nice. You must be so excited seeing that Friday is only a couple days away. I'm sure she will turn out to be a really nice pet. I have 5 dwarves myself with 2 being real old. I love dwarves though
