Hi Everyone!

Hey, everyone! My name is Caitlin. I've owned about 3 hamsters before. I put myself under the beginner knowledge, and that is partly true. If I could choose I would put myself in a category that is in between beginner and intermediate. I don't know how much help I will be to the people of this site, well at least if I can't teach, I can learn! Well, to stop myself from rambling I'll make this short.

I live in the midwestern area of the United States. I have a dog named Brady and currently only one hamster, named Aspen. (When he was a baby he would never go in any of his hide-outs, and instead would dig underneath his bedding. Whenever he would come back up aspen shavings would get stuck to him as he's a long haired Syrian.) Oh well for not rambling I guess xD

I have had accounts on this site before because I found that the U.S forums were overall a little bit confusing. Better stick with whatcha know as they say.

The reason for joining this again is because, to be frankly honest, I felt like my hamster wasn't getting as much care and love as I have to give. I remember the days of being active on this forum how much it helped me learn and grow as a hamster owner. I hope that by the time you got all the way to the bottom of this article you haven't fallen asleep, and if that's the case, congratulations! Best wishes from my home, to yours!

They can be so ungrateful, can't they lol. I'm always buying my pets new treats and toys and half the time they just ignore them! Then go chew on a toilet roll tube or something. They're easily pleased

I'm sure you'll find plenty of ideas again here & find lots of things to help you & Aspen have the best time together, he sounds like a cute character!
