That is a bit difference! You don't hear about 3 1/2 years that much and still going strong. The robos look so cute. It sounds like they are housed together?

Yes, he changed colour or started to noticeably around July time this year, he is quite doddery but still as feisty as ever! The girls were together when they came to me until a fight (see my thread in Robos section of the forum). They are now separate and much much happier!

Aww Ron's coat may have faded in colour but, he's still got that cheekiness and bright eyes. Your girls are so cute.

Hello and welcome. It's amazing hearing about and seeing a three and a half year old Syrian! Does he manage eating ok? I know they can end up with problems with teeth as they get older. He looks good to me!

The Robos look very cute. I am sure you will find out lots about Robos on here from people who have them. We have a Syrian who is 2 years and 4 months and I thought that was good going lol.

Maybe you could add Ron to this thread

Who is the oldest hamster on HC right now?

Is he named after Ron Weasley by any chance? Being ginger.

Yes he is named after Ron Weasley, my one before was named Harry Potter because he had little light rings round his eyes like his glasses so naturally, rescuing a ginger, he had to be Ron! He doesn't eat as well as he used to, he prefers the food which is easier to chew like peanuts and the micronized peas. I know he doesn't have long left, but he is a determined little thing!

Maybe he'd enjoy some baby food I put some in a little egg cup for our hamster as an extra. He licks some off the top It can work out a bit expensive as once you open a pot it only keeps 24 hours in the fridge. I make one do two days by opening it early evening putting it in the fridge and using it the next day early evenings. The age 4 months ones tend to have the safest hamster agreements (ie no onion, garlic, spices or tomato). I tend to get 3 of the cow and gate age 4 months ones - Chicken and Pumpkin, Lamb Hotpot and Chicken sunday lunch. They all have hamsafe ingredients, as does the 4 month cauliflower cheese one (but that's a bit rich). Also the peas peas peas from Ella's kitchen is ok. If it makes them happy in old age what the heck
