Hamster medication

Hello everyone!
new to this website- my 1 year old Syrian hamster is on pain medication for her back, but I was just wondering when the best time to give her the medication is- should I wake her in the morning and give he it then let her go back to bed- or just give it to her when she wakes in the evening? ^_^

I'd give it to her when she's awake in the evening - she may be more co-operative that way

I agree, giving meds can be a bit stressful so if you wake her up to do it you'll just be increasing the stress, wait until she's up then give her a nice treat when it's done!
