Hey! Newbie Owner Here with a lil Robo ;)
I was browsing around Pets at Home yesterday and came across their adoption section when I saw this cute fluff ball and ended up taking him home. He was given back to the store because he was fighting with his other playmate so the owners couldn't keep him.
The store employee told me he's around 6/7 months of age. So far he likes his new cage and play toys and I sometimes put his little house on my table when I'm working so he can hang out on my desk with a few treats.
I had a hamster when I was around 5 years old but none since then so I'm still new to owning them, which is why I thought joining this website would be a good idea 
PS - His past name was Fluffy but I'm going to rename him, not sure on what yet but open to ideas

Just an update - decided to call him Gandalf as he has a way of looking like an old man right after he wakes up.
My mum kept trying to convince me to call him Rice (but pronounced the Russian way) which I was tempted to do but my favorite Lotr character won in the end
