Heyyy
Hi, I'm Callum and me and my partner have just purchased a hamster named "Hammy" for our son, who's too young to realise what he is yet. I plan on building him a cage and so on but for now we have a regular sized cage for him. He's really tame but can be quite jumpy, just to see how the little fellow fits in for now.
Thank you for having us here!

Re: Heyyy
Thank you for all your friendly welcomes!
I have a question which I'll post here and in the housing section of the forums..:
I am building a cage for my Hammy and want to know whether Perspex (acrylic glass) is alright to be used as a "window" sort of thing..?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Heyyy
Perspex/acrylic is a great material as long as it is an appropriate thickness(about 6.35 to 8 mm is best). It's a lot easier to work with compared to regular glass since it can be drilled, plus it is more durable and wouldn't shatter.
