Default Hi all

I was searching for hamster enrichment ideas and google search came up with hamster central. So here I am.

My girlfriends sons hamster is called Whiskas. Although he was told he would need to look after it, unfortunately his interest has waned to nearly nothing. Shh, I never said that part although if she is seen or taken out she is at least acknowledged.

Anyhow I look after her as well as my girlfriend so no love lost there. I have just bought today a burrow box from pets at home and I'm sure she will love it! It does look cool and fun for her. Also I bought a small inexpensive wooden seesaw. These should keep her entertained but would be great to find out what DIY ideas for keeping her entertained are around, I'm sure there will be plenty here.

Anyhow I'm from the UK and looking forward to having a browse.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I have found over the years that often the cheapest play toys are used the most...a cardbox box, toilet tube...as many cool looking toys go untouched! Our members have certainly got very creative over the years postign their projects and modifications.

Looking forward to seeing what you may come up with!

Hello and welcome to hamster central. The DIY section of the forum has so many creative ideas for toys, so might be nice to browse through that section.
