Hi there :)
Hi there, proud new hamster owner checking in! Not my first hamster, but the previous one was quite a few years ago. It's my first time having a pet in a country which isn't all that pet friendly however, which means I have some challenges to overcome.
Which I hope to find some help with around here!
Bit more about myself... 26 year old, female, living on the island of Curaçao. Originally from the Netherlands, where I also had my first hamster, a panda-coloured Campbell's.
Not sure yet what species my current hamster is; the lady at the pet store called it a 'Grey Dwarf' which doesn't really say all that much haha.
So uh, yeah... feel free to ask questions

Grey dwarf doesn't sound very helpful or well informed lol! When you can post some photos we could tell you for sure which species of ham you have.

Hello and Welcome to Hamster Central.
Congratulations on getting your new hamster. Does it have a name yet?
Grey Dwarf isn't helpful, but a picture could help with identifying the species.
But I'm looking forward to hearing more about your new hamster.
