I'm here~
Hey guys, I'm a first time hamster owner at the interesting age of 23. I don't know how on earth it has taken me so long, maybe i've only just become responsible enough, haha.
I live with 2 dogs, a cat, 3 gerbils, and now my gorgeous hamster. Still got a lot to learn so any tips are appreciated.

Hi and Welcome to Hamster Central, this is a great place to learn about anything hamster related by searching through the forum or if you have a question we are happy to help and offer advice.
What is your hamster name? I can't wait to here more about it and see some pictures of your hamster and other pets.

I found this site as it was mentioned in a few videos by ErinsHamsters on youtube which is also where I've learnt most of the stuff I know about hamsters.
My hamster's called Dragon and is an absolute beauty. I like to spoil my pets so I'm hoping to find some great ways to do that here and make him have a very happy and long life.

He's a Syrian. I think he might be a she though, because they said females are slightly less fluffy than males and I can see that he's not as fluffy as when I first got him. Although I could be completely wrong haha.
I'm already addicted and want about a thousand more hamsters, but I going to stick to giving all my hamstery love to Dragon... for now at least, he /may/ have to share me at some point.

Hi and welcome!
If Dragon (great name!) is a short haired Syrian then he won't be fluffy anyway! As for long haired hamsters, I am unsure!
