Help !
Hi I'm new and my Robo hamster had baby's and I read that she would usually not be active but she's really active and she isn't in her nest I think it was the mother I put the father (I think is the father ) in a separate cage so there wouldn't be any more baby's but the "mother" is running around and rarely goes to her babys and I don't want them to die I don't know what to do

Re: Help !
No advice im afraid! I wouldn't rely too much on Google search either as there's some questionable advice on there!
I would perhaps call your local exotic vet or wait for an experienced member on here to advise.

Re: Help !
Any updates to what has happened? I'm not too experienced with dwarves but I think males have a scent gland, almost like a belly button, in the centre of their stomachs. The holes where the genitals and anus are are further apart in males, and closer together in females. The female should have visible nipples. Maybe put them both back into the same cage and see which one tends to the pups more? If one of them tends to them more it is most likely the female, so separate the other one.
Hope everything is okay.
