Default Hello - I've not been active for a few years!

So I've not posted on here in well over a year, if not longer.

Its been a few years since my previous hamster friends have passed and gone to rainbow bridge. Ive had no interest in getting a new hamster for a long while and now i've finally got my interest back.

So this morning I ordered a brand new spanking cage! The hamster heaven by savic - I've always liked that cage but could never afford it, but I can now

I'm planning on finding a furry friend at the weekend with my other half once my cage arrives.

I am so excited to get back into being a Hamster owner again, It has been far too long!

Great cage choice. Looking forward to meeting your new hamster in due course.

Hi again,

My cage arrived today while I was at work. I was putting it together this evening, only to find the tubing is all cracked. Then I noticed the green house on the top was cracked and the door on the top of the wired bit was on the wrong way.

So annoyed, I paid £75 for this including delivery and its broken.

Taking it back to pets at home tomorrow but I doubt they can exchange it there and then because it was an online exclusive

You may be able to get a massive discount and just bin those bits and buy some replacements online.

I don't really want to do that though. I could take the tubes out and the green house but I liked those bits and were one of the reasons why i chose that cage.

Im just going to load it in my car tomorrow and get a refund and look elsewhere.

What a let down =/
P@H have been pretty good with taking stuff in store that I got from the internet.
I've stopped buying online because the products from the website seem to come to me in all sorts of broken!
Fingers crossed you find a replacement soon, and hi
Welcome back to HC =]

I would definitely try and get a refund. You can get the Hamster Heaven for under £60 at Zooplus (online). And Zooplus have good after sales service if anything is damaged. You might want to look at some of their other cages too I just bought the Barney cage - it's lovely! And so is the Alexander.

Hamster Cages | great selection at zooplus
