Servus! Hi everyone!
Hi guys!
I just registered after anonymously lurking around for a couple of weeks because a sweet syrian hamster called Bucky moved in with me today. 
This is actually the fourth hamster I've owned - but I feel like this is the first time that I'm really getting a chance to do things right.
My mother got me two dwarf hamsters when I was a kid - and tbh I had no idea how to handle them. Three years ago, me and my roommate adopted a syrian hamster. Unfortunately, we had to move out of the apartment shortly after adopting him and had seperate apartments afterwards - and she kept Rudi (the hamster).
I spent the last couple of weeks obsessively reading about hamsters, browsing forums and watching a lot of youtube videos. And now, since this afternoon, I'm a proud hamster mommy

Welcome to the forum! Germany is kind of hamster care central so you're going to have access to so many great products and the rest of us are going to be massively jealous

Thanks for the warm welcome I'll surely snap dozens of pictures of Bucky, so you should see the litte critter soon.
I didn't know Germany had more hamster care stuff to offer than other countries (But I did just spend a whole lot of money on a massive online shop order.)

Aaaaaand this is him. I know, it's a tiny picture. But I didn't want to get too close with my giant black camera since he's still getting used to his new home. I zoomed in as best as I could
(He seems to really like sitting on his bum with his tiny legs stretched out in front of him. It's so cute.)
