Hello! So I actually joined in July but I haven't made myself known yet. I'm probably just gonna hide and read other posts and not make my own very often. I was recommended this website by erinsanimals, a youtuber.
So I'm 16 and several weeks ago I got my adorable long-haired Syrian that I named Crumpet. She is so fluffy! In the past me and my family have had hamsters. When I was a toddler we had a Syrian named Boris, when I was 6-7 I also got a Syrian named Toto, I got another Syrian named Oz when I was 10 and at various points in time my sister had two robos called Chocolate and Caramel and a Syrian called Bubbles.
Because we have owned all these hamster I thought I was pretty experienced but I have learnt a lot in these few weeks! Like how that really cool trick where your hamster plays dead is actually just really terrifying your hamster. I have also learnt that hamster shows exist which is just
awesome!
However I still need help. I mean it's weird I am actually like a parent who has to actually have responsibility and look after a life... Oh yeah and I'm addicted to spoiling my hamster mainly with toys. I just want to walk down the road to my pet shop every time I leave the house!
