I'm new too. Am I the oldest person to buy a hamster? I've always thought of them as children's pets, but she's SO cute.

your never to old for hamsters, in fact a hamster isn't really a good pet for children due to them being nocturnal and can be nippy, also the dwarfs are to small for children to handle,

I like Syrians more than robos, as I have found personally Syrians have more of a personality, and they like to sit and be cuddled once tame, where a robo is a great pet to watch and if you get two watching them play and snuggle together, robos like to be on the move, you do get a odd one that likes a cuddle but most don't,
