Saying hello to the Forum

Hi!
My family and I got two russian hamsters a few months ago. We fell in love with them in a pet store and decided to take two females home. They were very young and in the same cage at the store, so we thought they could be together, and they really did, no problem whatsoever, on the contrary. Their names are Hasmty and Speedy (my kids chose the names). They were supposed to be two females, but surprise surprise, they had babies last Sunday so it seems that they are actually a couple. Speedy turns out to be a boy after all....
We are all in love with our two tiny friends, and learning how to handle the new situation. I am so grateful to this Forum as I have found great, fast and so kind help.
