Smile Hello!!

Hello Everyone I'm new and would just like to introduce myself.
I have two rabbits and I had a lovely hamster named Olivia(hence my username lol) and I'm am currently saving up to get my second hamster as I've realised that I can't live without them!!! I also have a few questions; What would be the best substrate for a digging area and would Burgess supahamster hamster harvest mixed with Harry Hamster and Supreme science selective hamster food be a good mix (obviously with fresh veg ect.) Thanks xx

Welcome to the forum!

I don't completely understand what you are asking, but if you are wondering what kind of bedding to use in your hamster's cage, I would suggest CareFresh. It holds together really well, so the tunnels that the hamsters make do not fall apart.
As for the food, I've never heard of the first kind, so I can't be much help there.

Hi & welcome to the forum
I've found Fitch to be the best substrate for hams that really enjoy digging & making burrows I've also used hemp which was pretty good but doesn't hold the burrows quite so well.
All those foods you mention sound fine & mixing them would be ok imo, I tend to mix different feeds so they get some variety.

Your food idea sounds fine to me, we mix a few foods together to make our usual mix too

We find fitch best for the hams and tunnels at the moment but it is basically cheaper (and I find better) carefresh really

Thanks for being so welcoming and sharing your knowledge. (Artsy Hammy, cypher and kyrilliondaemon)! I will probably use Fitch like you recommended. Thanks again!!
