Hi I'm new here and I thought I'd introduce my hamster and myself. I'm currently from New York and I have a hamster, three cats, a dog and an iguana. I have had my hamster since he was about six months old and I got him from pet smart because some little girl wanted him, they put him in the box and then she found out he was not a girl and put him back. At the time of getting him I was extremely afraid of him. I left him alone for three days to get use to his habitat and then I started handling him. He never once bit me! For about six months he loved to run around in his ball for hours at a time. (Of course he took breaks). When he hit around a year old he didn't like it very much. So we would just sit around and cuddle and play in some tubes or obstacle course made out of boxes. He's about two now and hes still in good health. His favorite thing to do is be held and cuddle. He loves my niece who is two who thinks he is a kitty! He's very tolerable of her. He has never let anyone kiss him on the mouth (Usually he turns his head). But he lets my niece. Anyway thats all about my little hamster!
