Exclamation About my other post...

About my other post, "Hamster Intro's", I wanted to give you guys more info but the moderator didn't accept it yet and i left a couple thing s out. I have my eye on another robo.

About this hamster: He is a boy, He is a roborovski hamster, He was brought to the shelter 7/3/14. He is currently living alone because the other hamster they have there is a syrian. His name is Phil Thorp, but i would re-name him Humphrey. He is very cute, and he is exactly 1 year, 6 months, and 16 days old. He would be living in what I call, Hamster Heaven, being 3 seperate cages, connected. The third is conected by a bunch of crittertrail tubes, and is 2 levels, and a bottom with ramps. So Bear, (My current robo) has ALOT of room to roam, and he LOVES other hamsters. Especially males. My friend had a robo named Rhino, and they were inseparable, till Rhino passed away. Bear is about 2/3 years old. Do you think I should get him? He's only $6... How should I introduce them? I am very experienced, having 3 hamsters so far (Maybe 4!) and having kept them for at least 6 years. Bear is very healthy and we got him from Petsmart when he was only a little Squirt. Should I get Phil so he can be friends with Bear? I need help!

I stand by my previous answer - Don't get another to live in that habitat. I'm afraid it sounds like a really bad idea to me. I also question how much research you've done in your six years of experience I'm afraid, it might be you want to read and learn a bit more before you take on ambitious projects (like introducing unrelated robos - which can easily lead to bloodshed, especially with males)
At 2/3 years old Bear is also getting on and would probably appreciate a quieter retirement

I've only had two Roborovskis (still have them) and a couple of months later, I had to separate them because they were fighting over the amount of space they had. They had probably 330 sq inches between them. Although I now have bigger cages, and wanting to reintroduce them, I know it's best for them to stay separate in their own cages.

Bear doesn't really need a friend, especially at the age he is. He'll live happy on his own.

Edit: I've read your other thread and seen a picture of Phil, so ignore the below
From what I can read, the hamster you want to introduce to Bear is a Syrian? Two species of hamsters should never live together. They talk difference languages and a Syrian is much larger and will frighten a dwarf. The Syrian will either kill the dwarf or stress it so it dies.
