I keep 2 roborovski hamsters at the moment and am trying to track down a breeder of pure winter white hamsters in the West Midlands as the pet shops only stock hybrid hamsters,which are labelled up winter whites but I know they aren't.I have lost several hybrid winter White Russians from pet shops due to various health problems therefore I am now waiting until I find a show breeder of pure winter white hamsters....I think a breeder is going to be hard to find.I am a lady in her middle years who loves dwarf hamsters.I know hamsters are often considered to be children's pets but I happen to love these little animals, particularly Roborovskis and Winter Whites and I was recommended to join these forums and join other like minded people who also love hamsters

I also have two robos and love the wee guys to bits, they really are a great pet for adults and it's a shame more people don't understand that and just write them off as a childs toy.

I hope you have plenty of space at home, you'll find it hard to resist 'just one more' hamster with so many pictures of cute faces on all the threads!
