I agree with Esmy, when people see a hamster they soften up. When I was younger my mother never let me to have a hamster, she said " I don't want any mice in my house" she hated them, now I've my own house and when she saw my little hammie last month she fell in love with him, she calls him "my grandson"
I'm actually teaching the Lord of the Seeds to jump. It's just so embarrassing when he has to get down, like from hands to lap or out of the cage entrance. Scramble, tilt, wooooops, slide, plop.
He's developing quite an accomplished little hop now.
