Default New here :)

Hello Everybody,

I'm new to this whole thing in general but im sure i will find my way around lol.

I've had hamsters from when I was very little, but i did have a break from the little critters until i got with my other half in 2013.Currently i only have one hamster as i am beaten to space by my partner with his obsession for marine tanks.

My hamsters name is Marty because he was brought from martlesham, he is about a year and a half and his current abode is a 50litre cube converted fish tank with natural oak wood (with bark) platforms. I shall soon be getting some gorgeous fleece items for him from snoozie cozies when i get some spare cash together too.

Welcome to you Looking forward to meeting Marty
I'd hold off on fleece items for hammies as they are only suitable for supervised use in case they chew the fleece. It can stick in the pouches and round teeth and cause choking and also can cause bowel blockage if they eat it

Hi there, welcome! I hope to see some pictures soon!

All 3 of my hamsters are fleece/fuzzy fabric chewers. They will pick at it and try to eat it (including my fuzzy sweaters). I can't have it around them at all (as Souffle mentioned).
