Default Hi Everyone

My name is really Lisa and my hamsters name is Bear. He is only about 4 months old and is one of the many joys in my life. He is definatly a handfull but worth every minute of it with the joy that he brings into my life. Hamsters owned me when I was younger and then they didn't have the time for me for about 12 years until I walked into a store and Bear caught my eye. He decided that he would take me home and make me his. Of course I don't have any objections except when he makes me laugh so hard that I cry because I can't see him to well. He is spoiled but that is alright. I'm just wondering is it bad to buy spring water and give that to them because I don't want to give him city water? I wouldn't drink that stuff. Besides Bear I have a fiance, and 5 fish tanks ranging in size from 2 betta tanks, 2.5 gallon tank, a 30 gallon and a 37 gallon tank, I work full time, go to school, volunteer, and spend time with all my lovely friends.

Welcome peanut! As far as giving him spring water, it should be alright because it has nothing in it, just water.

Talk to you later!

Default Welcome Lisa and Bear

Thanks for the introduction Lisa, so glad you have joined us Hope to have a chat about fish on the Miscellaneous Chat Section soon. Your Bear is a such a sweetie I can see how he "trapped" you into taking him home - obviously knows a good care giver when he sees one

Is your fiance into pets? My other half pretends my crowd drive him mad (especially their wheels) but I always hear him sneeking in the hamstery speaking to the guys later that day :P

Yes, Bear is the hamster in the link. I am working on getting more pictures of him since he has gotten larger but he seems to be camera shy. As far as Eric being into pets, he makes a fuss out of the wheels but spoils Bear just as much as me if not more so. We actually fell in love with him at the same time but Bear has chosen me out of both of us. He likes Eric but prefers to spend time around me. If he is in his ball he hunts me out and sits at my feet until I take him out. It very cute. I know more about fish but keep on reasearching as much as possible about hamsters because all knowledge is excellent to have when it comes to any type of animal from fish to humans. Sorry I am going to school to become a psychiatrist that's why humans were included into the knowledge part.

Just struck me that it is bigger than all of ours - which are the maximum size permitted - 80 x 80 wierd the system let it through
